Vanilla Cake

Ingredients:

All purpose flour/ Maida - 1.5 cup
Sugar - 1.5 cup
Butter - 1 cup
Egg yolk - 1 cup
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Vanilla Extract - 1/2 tsp
Dry Fruits

Procedure:

Take a vessel, add flour, sugar, baking soda and mix well.




Add butter and mix well.



Add Egg and mix well.


Preheat oven @400F for 15min.
Add vanilla extract, mix well and whisk in one direction for almost 15-20 min.( if using manual whisk)to get smooth batter. (or if using whisk machine mix it on high speed for 5 min.)




Take a cake pan, spray non stick sprayer, pour the batter and slightly tap the pan in order to spread evenly...arrange some dry fruits ( cashew, pistachio, almonds etc).





Put it in the preheated oven for 30min and switch of immediately and let it be in the oven
for next 15 min. In between check the cake by inserting tooth pick. If it is not sticky that means it is well cooked.




Let it cool to room temperature, cut into pieces, and store them in a air-tight container.
