Ingredients:
Potato - 4 number
Green Chilli - 10 Number
Ginger - small piece
Garlic pods - 1
Chana Dal - 1 tbsp
Urad Dal - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - 5
Oil - 2 tbsp
For raita:
Onion - 1 small
Yogurt - 1 cup
Procedure:
Peel, wash and cut the potatoes.
Take a Vessel, add oil, when it is hot add Chana dal, fry for 1 min then add urad dal, mustard seeds, fry for another 2 min and then add curry leaves, fry for another 30 sec.
In between mix potatoes carefully, with out getting them mashed up. Cook till they are done.
Now take green chilli, Ginger and garlic in blender and make into a coarse paste.
Add this paste and salt to potatoes, mix well and cook for another 5 min with out covering with lid.
Now Take half of the curry into separate bowl and let it cool down to room temperature.
Cut Onion into long thin slices.
Take 1 cup of yogurt i am bowl add 1/4 cup of water and make into thin yogurt, and add these onions and curry to it.
Adjust salt in raita and serve Curry and raitha with hot rice.
