Murmura Mixture



Pidatha KindaPappu( Murmura Mixture)


This is one of the most famous chat item in Kostha area of Andhra Pradesh. Genarally they call it as Bajji Mixture, other variation is {with out adding any bajji(veggies coated with besan flour and deep fried)} Pidatha Kinda Pappu, as on road sides, the vendors put these murmura under heated pidatha which means small pot.

Ingredients:

Murmura/ Puffed Rice - 2 cups
Finely chopped Onions
Finely chopped Tomato
Finely chopped Coriander leaves
Fried/ Roasted Peanuts
Raw Dhaliya/ fried chana dal
Sev
Salt
Red Chilli Powder
Lemon Juice



Procedure:

Add all the ingredients Murmura, onions, tomato, coriander leaves, peanuts, dhaliya, Sev
and mix well.




Now add Lemon Juice and adjust Salt and Red chilli powder according to your taste, and serve.




On the Road sides of my home town and in other towns of my area, they will add smashed Chilli Pakora/ Tomato Pakora/ Raw plantain pakora and smashed green peas masala to this preparation. They call it as Bajji Mixture.
