Capsicum Fry

Cook Time: 20 Min
Preparation Time: 5 Min

Ingredients:

Capsicum/Bell pepper - 3 number
Fried Chana Dal/ Dhaliya - 1/2 cup
Garlic cloves - 2 number
Red chilli Powder - 1tsp
Salt
Oil

Procedure:

Take 3 number Capsicum and cut into 1inch pieces.

Take a wide pan, put oil in it and when it is hot enough add the capsicum pieces and let it fry for 15 min with out putting any lid on medium flame.

Meanwhile....take half cup of fried Chana Dal/ Dhaliya add 2 number garlic, little salt, and Redchilli powder and put it in blender and make a fine powder...

When the capsicum is almost cooked sprinkle this powder and 1 tsp of oil and fry for another 5 min on medium flame....

Serve the fry hot with rice.

Variations:

If you are using small capsicum which normally we get in Inida, Blend the Dhaliya mixture into a course powder and stuff it in the small capsicum's(cut them just like Egg-plants) instead of cutting into small pieces and sprinkling. And you may need to add a bit more oil before placing stuffed capsicum

And when doing this stuffing curry add oil into the pan, place the stuffed capsicum and put a plate/ round plate instead of putting glass lid and pour 1 small glass of water into the round plate.
